Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator, Pre-Construction, Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of estimating, as well as pre-construction services, ensuring they are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with estimators, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
Duties
Assist in the development and management of project take-offs using tools such as On Screen Takeoff (OST) for accurate quantity estimation.
Conduct thorough construction site visits to ensure agreement with project plans and specifications.
Utilize OST, Adobe, Bluebeam, and AGTEK for document management, including reviewing plans and specifications for accuracy.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including permits, quotes, and other correspondence.
Support construction estimating processes by analyzing project requirements and providing detailed quantity information.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of material and service quotations.
Participate in regular update meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with the team.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a bonus, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices is a plus, but will train the right person.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel is mandatory. On Screen Takeoff (OST), Adobe, and Bluebeam is preferred, but not required..
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site at construction locations as required. Clean driving record a must.

Job Title: AGTEK Model Builder
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled AGTEK Model Builder to join our team at Eagle Rock Excavating, a leading civil construction firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed 3D models using AGTEK software to support project planning, design, and execution. The AGTEK Model Builder will work closely with project managers, engineers, and the construction team to ensure accurate modeling of site conditions, earthwork calculations, and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate 3D models for civil construction projects using AGTEK software
- Collaborate with project teams to review plans and specifications, ensuring models align with project goals
- Perform earthwork volume calculations and create cut/fill models
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation for project tracking and analysis
- Assist in project estimation, scheduling, and planning through model-based analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve any modeling issues during design and construction phases
Qualifications:
- Proven experience using AGTEK software for civil construction modeling
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in earthwork, grading, or similar civil projects preferred

Heavy Equipment Mechanic
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Eagle Rock Excavating is currently seeking applicants for Heavy Truck and Equipment repairs.
The position requires the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.
Applicant must be flexible to be able to work in a safe and efficient manner. Fabrication skills are a plus.
2 years minimum experience
Requirements:

· CDL is a plus
